About Higher Learning Center
Higher Learning Center (HLC) is being created to assist parents/guardians and their children to succeed at school. HLC is not a school. HLC is a supplementary educational support center that goes well beyond typical tutoring.
Whether your child or children are home-schooled or they attend a public school in the area, HLC has a limited number of spaces available in which to assist in the learning and retention process. Have you ever wondered about what it would be like to be involved in a co-op, or our term, "home school assist" program? If the answer is "yes," then this could be the place for you and your child or children to advance to that next level of learning.
It is no secret that no two children will learn information in the same way. If you are finding that your child or children are not learning what they need to be at school or in your home school situation, then now is the time to take action. More one-on-one instruction coupled with a different approach to teaching may be the key to unlocking potential that you never thought could have existed. If you currently home school, and are needing a break or need a way to add to your home school teaching program, then HLC is the place for you. NEW: Introducing NATURE CONNECT. If your child needs more outdoor time and time for exercise, this new program may be for you. Mrs. Glenn is offering this program with support from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife. It is fun, relaxed, and helps children to understand more about their natural environment here in Northeast Oklahoma.
